Behavior Tech/Direct Line Therapist

Behavior Technicians, also referred to as Direct Line Therapists (DLTs), implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs working with children on the Autism Spectrum to facilitate language development, social interactions, independent living skills, and even play.
Our center, Building Bridges Therapy Center, provides a wide variety of programs and services for children with special needs. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to make the most impact possible for each child and family.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be available to work 3 evenings per week (4pm-7pm)
  • Works a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Part-time: 10-30hrs; Full-time: 30+hrs
  • All clients are within a 30 miles radius of our Plymouth center
Job Responsibilities:
  • Work one-on-one in individual and group settings
  • Includes both center-based and home-based therapy
  • May be required to work in school settings as well
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior, goals and progress. (we'll teach you!)
  • Communicate and coordinate with BCBA to provide caregiver support
  • Maintain open, honest, and direct communication skills. Accepting feedback is necessary to improve!
  • Provide an interactive and exciting environment for children to learn new skills!
  • Be prepared to: kneel, squat, crawl, stand, sit, lift
  • Basic computer skills (We use Microsoft 365 and other proprietary software)
