2024 Strategy & Planning Leadership Program Internship

Through our Summer Internship, you’ll gain the experience, knowledge and skills to take your career to another level. Throughout this 12-week program, you’ll enjoy hands-on involvement in some of the ground-breaking initiatives we’ve got going on. In addition to developing technically and professionally, you’ll be able to build a network of friends and contacts while discovering what it’s like to live, work and play with other interns in our program.   

Strategy & Planning (S&P)

The organization is responsible for leading the creation and approval of global advanced product strategy and program planning.

Specifically, this includes:

  • Utilizing innovative thinking to create global product strategies
  • Applying these strategies to build winning product plans that maximize profitability
  • Creating technology strategies to deliver the best interactive experiences
  • Leading cross-functional teams to execute program direction

A career in Strategy & Planning leverages expertise in both engineering and business, providing opportunities to expand competencies in both functional areas from day one.

These complementary skills enable S&P professionals to effectively lead cross-functional teams – including engineering, marketing, finance, technology, design and manufacturing specialists – and to deliver critical projects that improve profitability.

High-performing interns will be considered for a full-time position within the Strategy & Planning Leadership Program. The SPLP is a 36-month rotational program crafted to build a strategy skill set preparing the individual for their first off-program assignment within Strategy & Planning.

What Are We Looking For? 

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a graduate student enrolled in a full-time MBA program, with eligibility to work full-time before September 2025
  • A minimum of 2 years of business or engineering experience is required
  • Ability to think critically and navigate ambiguity, must display intellectual curiosity
  • Passionate about mobility product strategy

Preferred Attributes

  • 3 or more years of business, strategy, marketing, engineering, product design, finance, economics, data analytics, automotive, supply chain, or related work experience
  • Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities, employment and/or internship experiences
  • Excels in a fast pace and ambiguous environment
